Tax Returns for CIS workers
Self assessment help for the construction industry
If you're a building contractor in the UK then you'll need to be registered in the CIS scheme with HMRC. This means the builders who employ you will need to deduct tax at 20% from you everytime they pay you.
Then at the end of the tax year you'll need to complete a self assessment tax return. This needs to show your earnings and expenses plus the tax that has been deducted from you.
taxdoctor can complete your return, calculate how much you owe HMRC (or indeed how much they owe you). We also provide tax saving advice and tips all as part of the service. We'll submit your self assessment return electronically to HMRC and take all the worries away from you so you can concentrate on the important things, getting on with your work.
